The exhibition of portraits by Bhimarao Murgod is to highlight the charm of the art of portraiture. Within a span of two decades, the painter has portrayed a great number of noted personalities making his collection unique that includes Indira Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul II, Dalai Lama, Carl Lewis, R. Venkataraman, Shankar Dayal Sharma.  He Learnt the technique of portrait and miniature painting from Paris. His works are displayed at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the White House etc.
