lectures were the first in the series delivered by Surajit Chandra
Sinha in 1993. The first lecture deals with how N.K Bose presented his
ideas about the structure and
transformation of Indian civilization while the second deals with
Surajit Chandra Sinha's ideas.
Sinha was closely associated with N.K Bose since 1949 and was inspired
by his original approach to the study of Indian civilization and his
dedication and humanism as a man and scholar. Sinha has been Fellow,
Center for Advanced Study in Behavioral Sciences, Stanford and
Vice-Chancellor, Visva- Bharati.
